Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education, the Director of First and Second-Year Advisors is responsible for managing and strategically leading a team of up to 16 academic counselors working in the Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) at San Francisco State University. The center is a unit within the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning (DUEAP). DUEAP is comprised of several units that collaborate to serve students and enhance learning. The director works closely with other advising mangers and DUEAP’s leadership to deliver a quality advising experience for SF State students.
