    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in College of Science, Dean's Office.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after September 9, 2024 and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • General clerical duties, filing, communicating information, data entry, copying, inventory, answering phones, routing inquiries, greeting student and faculty guest walk ins and running on campus errands.
      • Candidate may be asked to assist with maintaining the Dean's calendar.
      • Scan and file documents electronically.
      • General clerical assistance to the Administrative Analyst.
      • Light office cleaning and organizing assistance.
      • Handle mail pick up and distribution.
      • Manage the College of Science website and social media platforms.
      • Other duties as assigned.

       

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Ability to utilize office equipment (copy machine, scanner, computer, phones, etc.) and follow verbal instructions. Applicant is expected to maintain confidentiality, promptness, good attendance and office etiquette. Must have effective written and oral communication with professional demeanor. Must demonstrate friendly and courteous receptionist skills and be able to work independently with numerous interruptions. Ability to follow through on assignments is necessary.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.00 per hour.
