    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant in Agriculture.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after September 21, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027.  Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist in responding to telephone and email inquiries.
      • Assist faculty, staff, and students.
      • Collecting mail, distributing mail, and campus deliveries.
      • Monitor frequently used office supplies for inventory.
      • File, scan, copy, and organize documents.
      • Enter data and update records.
      • Assist students with basic departmental inquiries.
      • Support departmental projects and events.
      • Other duties as assigned.

       

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
      • Ability to follow instructions and explain to others.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
      • Effective communication skills.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, search engines, computer applications.
      • It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates prior experience in an office setting.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying. 
    • Salary Range
    • $16.90 per hour.
