- Temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position in Communication Studies.
- Position available on or after May 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in overseeing and organizing the day to day operation of KCSS.
- Assist in training and assigning time slots for student and volunteer broadcasters.
- Assist in coordinating activities of student management team and conduct staff meetings.
- Assist in maintaining regular office hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station, some management and non-commercial radio experience.
- Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112.
- Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
