    • Position Summary
    • 2 Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in Theatre Department.

    • Days/Hours
    • Must be available to work during evenings and on weekends. 

    • Start Date
    • Positions available on or after October 2, 2025 and ending on or before May 30, 2026 Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties

    •  

      Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Provide support as a box office cashier for Theatre Department events.
      • Provide customer service at Theatre Department events.
      • Provide support to the Theatre Department by assisting in the Theatre Office, Theatre Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.
      • Provide technical assistance when requested. 
      • Other duties as assigned.

       

    • Qualifications

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates prior cashiering and customer service experience.
      • Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn new software.
      • Demonstrates the ability to multitask; and the capacity to be reliable.
      • Demonstrates the ability to be highly motivated; and maintain a positive attitude.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Cashier, technical, sewing, experience, quick to learn new software, multi tasking. Great attitude, reliable, self motivated. Must have transportation or live on campus and be able to work evenings and weekends for plays.
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units. 
    • Salary Range
    • $16.50 per hour.
