- Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions in the Student Recreation Complex.
- Position available on or after September 24, 2024 and ending on or before May 30, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates certification through a recognized professional organization (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NNSCA, or NASM).
- Demonstrates prior experience within the past twelve months of leading group fitness classes.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience with a variety of Group Fitness classes.
- It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent has CPR and First Aid certification.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience with Personal Training.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrates the capacity to frequently stand, run, jump, walk, sit, use hands to finger, and handle or feel objects.
- Demonstrates the capacity to use tools or controls, move or lift up to 125lbs, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Spring units.
- $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on the qualifications of the successful finalist)
