    • Position Summary
    • Two (2) temporary hourly-intermittent LAEP Student Assistant/Research positions in Psychology on the CSU Stanislaus hybrid appointment Modesto/Virtually.

    • Start Date
    • Positions available on or after December 1, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with ongoing research.
      • Assist with data entry.
      • Assist with analysis of assessment results.
      • Conduct literature reviews of scholarly research.
      • Give informal/formal presentations of the research.
      • Assist staff as needed with ongoing services including designing bulletin boards, creating research materials, revising program materials, organizing equipment and/or observing classes.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    • SPECIAL CONDITION: This is a hybrid appointment. Some duties will require RAs to be present in-person at the Modesto, CA location (1115 14th Street, Modesto, CA 95354), while others may take place virtually.

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates enrollment at CSU Stanislaus, majoring in Psychology, Child Development, or related field and is pursuing a career in human services.
      • Demonstrates experience working with autistic children.
      • Demonstrates completion of coursework in behavior analysis.
      • Demonstrates bilingual or multilingual skills.
      • Demonstrates experience with quantitative or qualitative research in a classroom or field setting.
      • Demonstrates the ability to use programs like Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Qualtrics.
      • Demonstrates respect and compassion for participants, collaborators, and colleagues.
      • Demonstrates the capability to be dependable and follows through on assignments.
      • Requests and is receptive to feedback.
      • Demonstrates the capability to collaborate and work in a group setting.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must be eligible for LAEP and have received a LAEP award.

    • $15.50 per hour
