| Under the general direction of the Interim Associate Vice President for Facilities Development and Operations and in collaboration within the Department and with colleagues across the campus, the Associate Director- Central Plant & Energy Services is responsible for leadership, management, and supervisory oversight of Central Plant operations and the energy services program. In this role, the incumbent is responsible for all operation, maintenance and repair at the Central Plant to ensure safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable electricity, heating and cooling services to the buildings on campus. |

| Under general supervision of the Supervising Electrician, performs skilled journey-level electrical work, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and low-voltage systems such as fire and alarm systems. Duties include troubleshooting malfunctions, planning and wiring new or remodeled installations, testing equipment for safety and efficiency, and fabricating parts. The incumbent ensures work complies with codes and specifications, uses a computerized maintenance system, and may guide unskilled or semi-skilled assistants. |
