Position Description

Job Overview

The incumbent provides a wide range of technical research support to the Department of Public Health. The incumbent is responsible for gathering, compiling and analyzing research data, creating report content based on research data, providing technical support for the PIC Health Project, interfacing with community members, and preparing materials for project presentations and evaluation. This position includes providing direction to small staff, including research technician I, graduate research assistants, and undergraduate student assistants.

Position Summary

Research Technician II

This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position ending on or before six months from date of hire (180 days). Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule

Anticipated Hiring Salary Amount: $31.00 per hour

CSU Classification Salary Range: $25.32 - $45.82 per hour

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
