    • Position Summary
    • Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent bridge student assistant position in Housing and Residential Life.


    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after June 3, 2024 and ending on or before August 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist department staff with deep cleaning to prepare units for move-in and summer conference programs.
      • Deep clean kitchen and appliances.
      • Vacuum, dust, clean surfaces and other general housekeeping.
      • Clean and maintain windows, screens and doorways.
      • Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning, and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring.
      • Assist department staff with routine grounds maintenance and landscaping such as sweeping, blowing, and pressure washing walkways.
      • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of common areas in the community such as laundry rooms, bathrooms, hubs, conference rooms, game room and tv lounge.
      • Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis.
      • Organize supply closets.
      • Assist with various housing events and conferencing such as move-in, move-out or other events that need additional support.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications












    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates availability to work Monday - Sunday between established hours. 
      • Adhere to established work hours. Multiple occasions of unexcused tardiness and/or absence will result in position termination.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

    • $16.00 per hour
