- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the Office of Community-Engaged Learning.
- Positions available on or after September 14, 2026 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- To assist with the clerical and outreach aspects of the Office of Community-Engaged Learning
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate campus communication about volunteer opportunities for students. Assist with outreach and management of on- and off-campus events.
- Create and maintain files for various student, faculty, and community events and activities.
- Provide support on-site at on- and off-campus community events.
- Coordinates and prioritizes clerical projects interspersed with the day-to-day activities and operations of the department.
- Compose letters and signage for the campus community.
- Develop materials for the promotion of service and service learning events in coordination with faculty and other University departments.

Communicate effectively and professionally with faculty, staff, students, and the public via email correspondence, in-person interactions, and/or telephone communications.
Assist in the management of various activities, events, and materials for service learning courses.
Assist with the maintenance of the online database of program sites for student placements.

- Be able to work nights and weekends as needed with notice.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted a Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
