    • Position Summary
    • Two (2) temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions in Housing and Residential Life.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after February 20, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2023. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Become an expert of all things housing and lead group or individual housing tours, in-person and via Zoom.
      • Manage tour calendar and all incoming tour requests.
      • Schedule housing tours and respond to tour inquiries.
      • Follow up with prospects within a timely manner.
      • Oversee weekly Wednesdays in the Quad marketing table, including set-up, takedown, hosting, and preparing materials.
      • Brainstorm activities and engagement opportunities for Wednesdays in the Quad.
      • Host information tables at outreach or recruitment events such as New Student Orientation, Warrior Welcome, Warrior Expo, and Warrior Counselor Conference.
      • Assist with presentations to prospective residents and families about living on campus.
      • Make phone calls to housing applicants, incoming residents, and prospective students.
      • Follow up on incomplete applications and assist students with the housing application process.
      • Collect data and run regular application reports for professional staff.
      • Work with the Marketing Assistant to identify common questions, concerns, and areas of Housing to highlight.
      • Be featured in videos for social media.
      • Recruit students to participate in testimonials, videos, and photos.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Available to work Wednesdays from 9:30AM - 1:30PM.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people of all backgrounds.
      • Ability to retain and present information in a clear, concise manner.
      • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
      • A go-getter attitude who can complete tasks on-time with minimal supervision.
      • Willingness to work evenings or weekend hours for special events, as needed.
      • Currently lives or has lived on-campus at Stan State.
      • Ability to push/pull handcart and set up/take down pop-up tent, table, and chairs with assistance.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

    • $15.50 per hour
