    • Position Summary
    • Three (3) temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions in The Warrior Cross Cultural Center (WCCC).

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after August 22, 2022 and ending on or before May 31, 2023. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Greet, direct, and check-in visitors, relay the community guidelines and provide general information.
      • Assist visitors with any questions they may have, the ambassador will also monitor the lounge area during hours of operation.
      • Assist with word processing, file making, scanning & copy making, and troubleshooting technology issues in the center.
      • Support the Admin. Support Coordinator by answering front desk phone, ensure that all email and mail correspondence is done.
      • Responsible for setting up and having visitors check in to the conference room.
      • While the conference room is in use, the ambassador will monitor and be available should any technical issues or reservation issues arise and will provide the information needed for our guests.
      • Assist WCCC (Warrior Cross Cultural Center) Coordinators with event support such as: set up and take down of items and resources on the day before or day of the event.
      • Assist with office inventory including our social justice library check out system. 
      • Assist with Outreach and Marketing activities such as: Maintain all social media accounts and promote WCCC events on social media, prepare monthly status reports, be responsible for taking pictures of diversity center activities and events.
      • Assist with reoccurring Tabling and outreach activities.
      • Create and produce Outreach Marketing materials such as: buttons, flyers, pamphlets, etc.
      • Maintain scheduled office hours and assist in any additional tasks as needed within the department.

      Other duties as assigned.

      • Demonstrates strong knowledge of social media platforms and technologies.
      • Demonstrates experience in Adobe InDesign or Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
      • Demonstrates the flexibility to work some weekend and night shifts.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

    • $15.00 per hour
