    • Position Summary
    • One temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position in Communications and Public Affairs. 

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after December 14, 2020 and ending on or before May 28, 2021. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with editing pages on the csustan.edu Drupal site.
      • Assist with posting images and photos to the website.
      • Assist with cleaning up content and directory structure on the website.
      • Assist with web accessibility updates and remediation.
      • Assist with building custom website forms within Drupal.
      • Assist with helping fulfill, solve and handle web work order requests from across the campus.
      • Assist in communicating with University departments and programs regarding site updates and edits.
      • Assist with easy/moderate graphic design projects for elements to be used on the web, such as creating banner images and cropping photos.
      • Assist in helping current web ambassadors (Drupal editors group) with Drupal questions.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates enrollment in a computer science, or computer science related major.
      • Demonstrates excellent communication, trouble-shooting and research skills.
      • Demonstrates an excellent eye for editing content and familiarity with formatting text; attention to detail.
      • Demonstrates knowledge of HTML and CSS.
      • Demonstrates beginner to intermediate graphic design skills.
      • Demonstrates the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
      • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of web accessibility.
      • Demonstrates the ability to take on web related project responsibilities independently, with general supervision.
      • Demonstrates a friendly, outgoing personality, since you will interact with all university departments and programs.
      • It it preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates prior experience with a content-management system; preferably Drupal.
      • Demonstrates proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and Photoshop.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $13.00 - $14.00 per hour (depending on the qualifications of the successful finalist).
