    • One temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position available in Chemistry.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after March 19, 2020 and ending on or before May 26, 2020. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art techniques and approaches in biochemistry such as protein expression and enzyme kinetic assays under the direct supervision of Dr. Schara.

      • Students will be directly trained and mentored in the lab on a one-to-one basis and meet regularly with Dr. Schara to assist in the biochemistry calculations.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates strong Interest in Biochemistry.
      • Demonstrates basic understanding of proteins and biochemical assays.
      • Demonstrates strong organization and interpersonal skills.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $13.00 per hour.
