Assistant Coordinator for AANHPI Initiatives in Pomona
The Assistant Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operations of program activities and evaluations associated with the CSU AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) Grant. The position will provide programatic support, have co-oversight of the APISC (Asian and Pacific Islander Student Center) Mentorship Program (AMP), cultural workshops for the Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Easten, and Desi American (APIMEDA) community, collaborate with other student affairs departments, and support the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates for the APIMEDA community, specifically Pacific Islander students.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and have research interests in Cloud Computing, Big Data Management, Cybersecurity, Network Architecture, Dev-Ops, Operating Systems, Theoretical Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, Software Engineering, Database Systems, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence. In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university. The successful candidate will be held to the standards and requirements of the college and department in which he/she/they is/are housed for recommending tenure and promotion.
