The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Financial Aid Programs Manager to manage the development, promotion, and implementation of systemwide financial wellness programming. Ensure that assets developed can be utilized across the 23 universities and the Chancellor’s Office. The incumbent represents the CSU on various intersegmental committees and task forces at the statewide level. Senior Director of Development, Lam Family College of Business (Administrator II) - Development Office

Reporting to one of two Executive Directors of Development, the Senior Director of Development of the College of Business supervises the Associate Director of Development and plans, organizes, and implements the College’s major and principal gifts fundraising program. The Senior Director works closely with the Executive Director, the Associate Vice President for Development, and the Dean of the College to increase philanthropic support for key fundraising priorities in both undergraduate and graduate programs and affiliated centers and institutes. S/He builds relationships with prominent alumni and other potential funders to secure gifts of $25,000 to $1 million and above. The Senior Director will have the opportunity to secure support for scholarships, endowed chairs, and programmatic initiatives, including the Lam-Larsen Initiatives and Centers, an innovative set of programs, research projects, workshops, speaker events, and other activities designed to have a transformational impact on the thousands of students, faculty, and staff of the Lam Family College of Business and across San Francisco State University. Many of these activities are interdisciplinary and are developed in partnership with businesses, industry/professional associations, nonprofits, and local, state, or federal government organizations. |

The Architectural Engineering Department is seeking applications for a full-time (12 month) Department Head at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to begin September 1, 2025. The position is tenure track with the possibility for tenure to be granted at the time of the appointment.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader who engages the department’s stakeholders in developing and achieving its vision, mission and goals while championing inclusive excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship, research, professional engagement, and service.
The position reports to the Dean of the College and carries both administrative and academic duties. The Department Head teaches courses (1/4 time) ranging from first year undergraduate to master’s level and engages in scholarly activities appropriate to tenure status and rank. Civil or structural engineering expertise is required. The Head works closely with faculty and staff to sustain the quality of academic programs and manage the department’s fiscal, human and physical resources. |
