Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs, this position is responsible for supervising Faculty Affairs staff members and overseeing the administration of Faculty Affairs processes and procedures for Unit 3, Unit 11, and Academic Administrators (MPP), including: recruitment, appointments, compensation, evaluations, separations, retirements, and faculty additional employment.
Associate Director, Women and Gender Equity Center Long Beach
The Associate Director will lead the efforts of the Women and Gender Equity Center. Incumbent provides leadership, direction, development, implementation of daily operations, services, programming, and finances. Associate Director provides support and coordination that impacts the success of the WRC and its diverse community of CSULB students. The Associate Director will lead and coordinate the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of educational, social, and cultural programs, student initiatives, resources, engagement efforts, and services designed specifically for students who identify as women, women of color, pregnant or parenting, traditional, nontraditional, re-entry, transfer, students enrolled in the CalWORKs program, and those impacted by gender-based oppression. Financial Aid Technician Long Beach
The Financial Aid Technician performs a variety of complex and technical duties involved in providing financial assistance for students, including the verification of eligibility and the awarding of aid. The Technician also serves as a comprehensive point of contact in Financial Aid - providing accurate direction and guidance to students, their families and staff in all aspects of the financial aid process - identifying those who need to meet with a financial aid counselor or administrator to resolve more complex issues.

This position is also responsible for ensuring the timeliness in service delivery as it relates to HRMS processing of faculty & staff employment transactions for assigned colleges and departments. This position provides advice and counsel to the campus community as it relates to faculty and staff employment policies procedures and the collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Under the general supervision of the Conference and Event Services Manager, the Event Services Coordinator is responsible for developing & managing relationships with internal and external clients who utilize university facilities. The Event Service Coordinator will meet the logistical needs of clients through collaboration with all necessary cross-campus departments. The individual will assist in the planning, organizing and implementing of events within Event Services and functions in support of the overall mission and goals of SFSU. The Event Services Coordinator will anticipate problems and develop appropriate solutions by investigating, analyzing and solving operational issues and complaints. This role will also include managing and maintaining accurate inventory control with Facilities Services’, University Police, Enterprise Risk Management, and labor chargeable services.
