The incumbent will be responsible for a cohort of participating fellows and community host organizations, and coordinate all student program activities, including but not limited to promoting the initiative, recruiting students, overseeing processes, training and supporting student fellows, communicating with partner organizations, placing students in community service fellowships, tracking data, maintaining records, and collaborating across the university. The program specialist ensures grant goals and requirements are met regarding the student experience, community partner engagement, and campus participation, as well as supporting the mission, vision, and principles of practice of ICCE. |

Under the general supervision of the Director of Campus Recreation, the Assistant for Campus Recreation will serve as the lead facilities and operations manager for the Mashouf Wellness Center. The incumbent also supports Campus Recreation scheduling and management of other on-campus sport and recreation facilities, including the Gymnasium and outdoor field spaces on campus. Additionally, the Assistant leads the department in setting policy and practice for sustainability, assessment, and risk management. As a management position, the Assistant will serve as part of the Campus Recreation administrative leadership team supervising staff and students working in facilities management, operations, space reservations, marketing, memberships, and outreach. |
