The Associate Vice President/Executive Director of the University Corporation (UCorp) reports to the Vice President & CFO for Administration & Finance (A&F) and the UCorp Board of Directors. The incumbent serves as the chief executive officer responsible for the overall administration, leadership, and vision for a wide range of auxiliary operations. The incumbent oversees the main operations and strategic direction of UCorp and is essential in supporting the university’s mission by managing human resources for an average of 300 employees; grants and contracts administration; the campus bookstore contract; commercial operations (food vendors and retail services); current use of gift oversight; and business services to other campus auxiliaries. The incumbent oversees and manages an annual operating budget of approximately $4 million and overall assets over $94 million. The incumbent designs and implements program operations and process improvements, deconstructs complex information, and creates policies, and procedures that are clear, effective, succinct, and sustainable. The incumbent enhances organizational effectiveness, fosters partnerships and works across campus divisions to create and develop an environment of service, engagement, and awareness for UCorp. |
