Jay D. Pinson Microfabrication Laboratory Manager San José
*This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) two-year temporary benefited position.* The Jay D. Pinson Microfabrication Laboratory Manager will support and enhance capabilities and user experience in the Microscale Process Engineering Laboratory (MPEL) in the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering at San José State University. The incumbent reports to the Dean of Engineering, and receives work lead direction from a multidisciplinary faculty user group (MPEL Steering Committee) to help ensure that the facility can effectively serve the needs of education and research that depend on hands-on microfabrication capabilities.

The University Corporation (TUC) is recruiting for a Meal Plan Supervisor. this position is responsible leading all aspects of the administrative functions for the campus’ meal plan program and serves as the primary point of contact for all campus departments, dining outlets & vendors regarding the meal plan program. As the primary point of contact for students & parents, this position may give presentations to parents of incoming students, sign up new participants each semester, coordinate all communication with the students & parents, assist students with the interpretation of meal plan charges on their Web Portal, & oversee in-person sales in the Meal Plan Office. This position will formulate and implement all meal plan policies and operating practices. As the supervisor in the meal plan office, this position will manage all aspects of the office and be the direct supervisor for the Commercial Services Admin Assistant and the Meal Plan Student Assistant and will interview, select and train those positions as needed. This position will act as a bridge and liaison between Housing, Chartwells and external clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Will recommend opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to streamline processes in the department and will make recommendations in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
