Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights Operations and Appeals Chancellor's Office

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights Operations & Appeals to ensures consistent policy interpretation and implementation of all Title IX and other civil rights (Title VI/Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation (DHR)) programming and services across the CSU community. The Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights uses outstanding relationship-building and communication skills through a lens of care and compliance to provide oversight, advice, support and direction, subject matter expertise, and guidance to an assigned roster of CSU campuses. The Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights also provides systemwide leadership, coordination, and oversight in the appeals process under the CSU Nondiscrimination Policy. The Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights serves as a subject-matter expert on programming and services required by Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, VAWA the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), CA Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as institutional policies and procedures.

This position serves as the subject matter expert for the systemwide Travel Management system and related applications, while championing and driving the entire travel and expense process to support the success of universities systemwide and its customers. Area Coordinator (Student Services Professional II, Range 1) - Residential Life San Francisco
The Area Coordinator is a full-time, live-in position that assists in the overall design, implementation, and daily administration of the Residential Life program for a specific residential community. Populations of these communities vary and can be in excess of 1200 residents. The Area Coordinator performs a wide variety of generally complex Student Services Professional work in the coordination and implementation of the Residential Education program as well as the overall Residential Life and Housing programs. The incumbent is responsible for the following areas in their specific residential community: case management centering around student behavior, supervision and leadership, community development and student success. In addition the Area Coordinator assists in the overall development and implementation of the Residential Life and Student Housing programs.
