| This position will assist the athletic training staff in providing the best possible medical care for student-athletes and visiting athletic teams. Responsibilities include the care, prevention, and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender. Emphasis is placed on injury prevention strategies such as taping, use of protective equipment, and flexibility training. Additionally, the incumbent will help maintain a professional clinical setting for Long Beach State students interested in pursuing a career in athletic training. |
