Development Coordinator - College of Architecture and Environmental Design San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly's College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) prepares tomorrow’s built environment leaders for careers in architectural engineering, architecture, city and regional planning, construction management, landscape architecture and allied fields. For decades the college’s nationally ranked, accredited programs and over 16,000 alumni have been a positive influence on forces that shape the planning, design, and construction worlds. The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Senior Director of Development and serve as the central coordination point for college level advancement activities. This position will provide mission critical support in strategy development and stewardship activities for all donors, friends, and partners.
Facilities Control Specialist Chico
Working independently, under general supervision, Facilities Control Specialists are primarily responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, adjustment and repair of electric, electronic, pneumatic and digitally controlled building automation systems which manage the most complex HVAC and refrigeration systems. This position proficiently uses building automation systems to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Incumbent will estimate cost, time and materials for projects and participate in the maintenance and operations of applicable heating and air conditioning systems and equipment either remotely or on-site. Maintain and service tools and equipment used in the performance of duties and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Incumbent will maintain records and logs, retrieve data related to work performed using manual and/or computerized record-keeping systems and prepare standard reports. In addition to the duties of a facility controls specialists, the incumbent shall provide technical leadership to other staff members including but not limited to interpretation of engineer design methodology, directing new or retrofit control projects, developing sequence of operations, programming, and commissioning. Work with management to organize long term planning to modernize campus systems within constrained budgets. Continually improve internal metering capabilities and data capturing. Expand the knowledge of the team by enabling individual success and understanding of challenging concepts. Contribute to project development at early stages to assist design team in developing elegant cost effective solutions that meet the campus goals.
Senior Outreach Counselor Pomona
The Senior Outreach Counselor will provide comprehensive outreach services that include the timely and accurate dissemination of information about Cal Poly Pomona, the CPP admissions process, and the California State University to students, parents, campus constituents, and the external community. The Senior Outreach Counselor will serve as the Lead for all department outreach counselors and will assist with the onboarding and training of newly hired outreach counselors, including ongoing training and identifying professional development objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for specific programs, populations, and schools within an assigned region. The Senior Outreach Counselor plays a critical role in representing and marketing the University to prospective students, families, high school and community college personnel, community groups, and the development of external relations with schools and the community.
