This position will help foster a team culture that is focused and driven to succeed academically and athletically, while servicing the community. Assist in the planning and implementation of practice, competitions, travel, equipment, paperwork and any other administrative duties set forth by the Head Coach. Recruit prospective student athletes in compliance with college policies and procedures. Monitor the academic progress and development of student-athletes. Conduct and supervise athletically related activities for specific training groups on a daily basis. Assist with the monitoring and posting on the team website and social media. Assist in all fundraising opportunities. Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Part-time Lecturer Pool for Department of Ethnic Studies AY 24-25 East Bay
The Department of Ethnic Studies seeks one or more part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for teaching appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2024 and Spring Semester 2025. The department offers a range of lower- and upper-division courses to majors pursuing the BA in Ethnic Studies and General Education students. We seek dynamic teachers with a commitment to Ethnic Studies pedagogy and practice.

** This position will specifically teach a general CLASS course, CLAS 105 (Class Acts).** The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences is looking to hire part-time lecturers to serve as the instructor for CLAS 105: Class Acts: Navigating the First Year Experience, a required course for all first-year students majoring in CLASS degree programs. The course is geared to the student body at CSUEB, addressing topics pertaining to first-year student success while integrating a social justice focus and building a community of students within the classroom for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
